Halloween Costumes by BabyStyle

It's my baby's first Halloween, and even though she's way too young to really get it, I am so excited to dress her up. BabyStyle has some incredibly darling costumes for the wee ones. Ours came the other day, and I have to say, the quality is pretty fantastic.

Honestly, how sweet is that ladybug? And the piggy? Adorable!!

Flymama

Flymama makes really modern and simple pocket books for little girls. My little girly girl likes to put her bag on the back of her stroller while taking her "baby" for a stroll.. and up until discovering this Etsy shop she carried a pink, fluffy poodle bag that someone gave her {!!}.. This mom of three is constantly inspired by daily life so be sure to check back often to peek all of the functional and stylish accessories that she is constantly crafting. The best part? 10% of all proceeds go to www.littlehearts.org, an amazing organization connecting parents of children with congenital heart defects. Handmade and shares the love.. nice.

Ellie Bellie Kids

I stumbled across Ellie Bellie Kids the other day, and instantly knew I had to feature them. Their motto? Classic play for the modern child. They are a company dedicated to "putting a modern twist on children's classics." What little girl wouldn't love a pretty tutu? And what little boy wouldn't want to play superhero in their very own cape?

I especially love their messenger bags:

A little sporty, a little metro, these pint-sized messenger bags are a hit with kids and parents alike. Kids love carrying their own treasures, and you’ll love not having to carry those treasures yourself. Fill it with snacks, books, puzzles or other gear and give them a sense of independence while looking super stylish too!

What a great idea! My niece loves carrying her own stuff around, and one of these bags would be perfect for her. Go check out Ellie Bellie Kids' selection of modern goods here!

Handmade Reversible Aprons

There are cute, handmade ways to keep your kids clean while cooking or pretending to cook. These reversible aprons from Lucky Ducky Designs are one of my favorites. I got ours at a local holiday fair, and am very impressed with the quality. The fabric selection is fantastic, and there are lots of choices for boys or girls.

These are also great for crafty activities, or if your child feels that he or she is too grown-up for a bib!

Dress up

Now that Halloween is over, it is time to hit the sales and stock up on the costumes. Most stores have their costumes on sale for at least 50% off. A dress up box makes a great Christmas gift. Dressing up is a fantastic activity during the cold, winter months. And whether you are a pirate or a princess, everyone loves to dress up!
