We love cupcakes, especially tiny ones that feel so dainty and don't make much of a mess when eaten by excited munchkins.

Bake It Pretty has miniature cupcake liners that make your cupcakes fun and cheerful without the added effort of extra fancy frosting or sprinkles. The carnival stripes would fit well with a circus or carnival-themed birthday party or baby shower.

{Mini Stainless Steel Containers}

These little stainless steel containers from Kids Konserve have made making lunches easier for me this year. The mini containers are perfect for putting small items in, like nuts, dried fruit, small crackers, a handful of grapes, a vegetable dip or a treat. Knowing I can grab a tiny container without having to worry about wasting baggies keeps me inclined provide little amounts of things in portion sizes that the kids will actually eat.

{Round Food Containers}

The round food containers are convenient for snacking on the go or for lunches. I'll use them for items like crackers and cheese, pastas, lunch-friendly leftovers, a large handful of edamame, carrots, or big pieces of fruit. Half a sandwich fits in easily too.

{Small or large Stainless Steel Tiffin}

We've had fun experimenting with Bento-type lunch packing, so I've got my eyes on these tiffins for next year.

Eleni's Cookies

These cookies kill me.  I would love to have them at a baby shower.  I would also love to be that talented.

Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies...

My husband says these are the absolute best cookies he has ever had. I have to agree. Very, very delicious... soft and chewy. The perfect cookie. A friend of mine shared this recipe a few weeks back and i could not resist sharing it with you...

Ingredients:

• 1 (8-ounce) brick cream cheese, softened
• 1 stick of butter, softened
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 (18-ounce) box moist chocolate cake mix
• Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350*.

2. In a large bowl, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in the egg. Then beat in the vanilla extract. Beat in the cake mix.

3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up so that you can roll the batter into balls.

4. Roll the chilled batter into tablespoon sized balls and then roll them in confectioner's sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake 12 minutes. The cookies will remain soft and "gooey." Cool completely and sprinkle with more confectioners' sugar, if desired.

*store in air tight container.

Coconut Snowman

Since I've got snow on my mind, here's another cute/yummy snowman idea. Vanilla ice cream, rolled in coconut. Black licorice candies for the buttons, eyes, and mouth. A marzipan nose, and a toasted marshmallow atop a chocolate cookie for his hat. If it weren't so cold, I'd eat this now.

Divided Snack Bowls

Using silicone cupcake holders as dividers in small bowls works really well when I want to give the kids a snack or small meal with lots of foods to choose from. We also like muffin tin meals for a group treat, but the individual containers help when I want to make sure both kids are getting a little bit of everything.

Funky Monkey Snacks

We have discovered a new favorite (and healthy!) snack: Funky Monkey freeze-dried fruit. These deliciously crunchy fruit bites have no added sugar and the tropical flavors are a big hit with the munchkins. My personal favorite, JiveALime (organic pineapple and lime juice), has the most unique and addiciting flavor - I find myself competing with the kids to grab the last piece out of the bag!
