I really believe this. My mom (who is a kindergarten teacher)always has me work on Nursery Rhymes with my little kids.
I agree completely.I have a friend who was telling her kids nursery rhymes from the time they were born, and both of her kids have excellent reading skills and make straight A's in reading. Excellent blog, thanks for sharing! Feel free to visit me back :)
I randomly found your blog looking for nursery ideas. I love it!
I too have randomly found your blog after starting my own baby blog to capture my pregnancy moments and found yours to be full of great ideas :)
I'm so glad I kept all my bursery rhyme books from childhood, now I can read them to my son when he arrives. Great to know about the lliteracy stats.
