I really believe this. My mom (who is a kindergarten teacher)always has me work on Nursery Rhymes with my little kids.

I too have randomly found your blog after starting my own baby blog to capture my pregnancy moments and found yours to be full of great ideas :)

I'm so glad I kept all my bursery rhyme books from childhood, now I can read them to my son when he arrives. Great to know about the lliteracy stats.
