My son likes to be prepared for his upcoming birthday party by starting the planning early. By early I mean the day after last year's birthday party. While his current theme involves pirates, I think these race car party images shot by the amazing Jessica Claire would change his mind.

This cake is so inspiring! I'm planning a first birthday party and very excited/nervous/terrified to make a butterfly cake! May go with cupcakes. But this car rocks!
