Using Velcro to attach a cloth belt (like the canvas belt pictured, used for gardening tools) to a child's table is a great idea for storing easily-accessed art supplies. You could even sew your own version with as many pockets in as many sizes as you needed.

Thanks for the great idea! I was looking for a way to store my sons legos on his "lego" table, this will be perfect.
I didn't even think about using it for Legos - that is a great idea!
