St. Nicholas Day was something that my family celebrated when I was a child, and I can't wait to share it with my children this year. Every year on the eve of December 6th my dear Oma (Dutch for grandma) would tell the story of Sinterklaas, how he would put treats in all the good boys and girls shoes, and do good deeds to his friends and neighbors. It was a great prelude for our family to get into the true Christmas Spirit and giving during the Holiday Season!
