I had forgotten just how horribly cold winter is, especially the humid, wet, windy cold we experience. If someone offered to buy my house and ship me off to Florida today I think I would take them up on their offer.
Since that is not a reality I am choosing to combat the cold in other ways. Choice #1 is not leaving the house for anything more than food or the kid's school, but if longer outings are needed or wanted (We'll have to go sledding and build a snowman or two!) I am going to keep the kids toasty without turning them into sweaty puffballs with the thin, moisture-wicking clothing from Snug-a-Bug. They have expanded the line from infants and toddlers to children up to size 10, so now the bigger kids can stay warm and active too.
