After two children and trying countless nursing products, I can definitely say that Lansinoh was by far the brand that worked best for me. The Lansinoh lanolin topical treatment works wonders for soreness and dryness while nursing. Because it has no additives or preservatives, it does not have to be removed before nursing. It is also the only topical nipple treatment endorsed by La Leche League International, considered the foremost experts on breastfeeding.

Another favorite is the Disposable Nursing Pads. They were the thinnest I found, and they come individually wrapped so you can easily keep extras in the diaper bag. Lansinoh also offers an Ultra Soft Nursing Pad, and Washable Nursing Pads.
