I have mixed feelings about the whole "hide the veggies so the kids don't know they're there" approach to mealtime, but find myself very excited to try out Deceptively Delicious, available as of today! I read an article about the background of this book, and was impressed with Jessica Seinfeld's food philosophies and approach to making sure her children are eating good food. I'll still serve vegetables in recognizable forms, but plan on using her book for my kid's picky phases and to improve our eating overall. I ordered my copy at amazon.com this morning, and can't wait to try it out.

I read about this is in a magazine the other day and thought to myself "I've got to tell Holly about this so she can put it up and T&T"
Thanks for the book advice. I found it at Costco this morning and purchased it. I can't wait to try some of her secrets. Thanks!
I am always looking for ways to improve my kid's diets - thanks for sharing!
I heard she stole almost all of the ideas from a book that has been out longer called The Sneaky Chef
I know the two have been compared repeatedly, but there are quite a few differences. One of those is that DD purees individual veggies, whereas Sneaky Chef makes purees by combining veggies of the same color. Either way, I am happy for any helpful food ideas! We will be sure to feature the Sneaky Chef sometime in the future to expand our options in the sneaky food world.
