Bristle Blocks

I have fond memories of playing with bristle blocks as a kid, so naturally my kids play with them now. I like that you can build "things" with them, but they also work pretty well for the younger child to just stick together.

Constructive Playthings has this 160-pc set that comes with a storage tub for $30.99. You can find smaller sets too. Check local toy stores or search online for bristle blocks or krinkles. I have even found 36-pc krinkle sets at TJMaxx for $7.
